Is there an elevator?. If not is there any help at all in getting luggage up the stairs..? Doubt my husband and I can climb a lot of stairs with luggage.

Yep, there is an elevator.

They will also help you with your luggage.

Ira, I am thinking of abandoning my beloved Hotel du Lys for the Bonaparte for our May trip. I've talked my cousin and his wife (their first trip to Europe) into joining my husband and me, and I think the charm of the winding staircase in the former will not make up for the inconvenience!

Couple of questions: should I be making reservations now, and do they have rooms with twin beds? Thank you!
