sorry about that...my question is:
my travel agent told me it would be $200 pp to travel from Barcelona to Seville (one way). When I pulled up Travelocity it was $47 pp!! I'm not travelling till end of Sept. If I book this fare now, is it likely to change a hundred times on me from now till September? Maybe even cancel flights etc. What has your experience w. Travelocity been? Thanks

Travelocity is just the middleman, and they have been around long enough to have a good track record. But, if I were buying this ticket, I'd go to the web site for the airline that came up on travelocity and buy directly through them, most likely for a few dollars cheaper.

That said, whether you buy through travelocity or the airline, your price cannot change later. There is always a risk that a flight will be changed or cancelled by the airline when you buy that far in advance, but if it happens they will put you on another flight. This would happen no matter who you buy the ticket through.

So, if you think you've found a good price (and I have no idea for that particular route), buy it, then stop thinking about it.

That fare is very good for the flight between Barcelona & Seville!
I would also suggest, as Jenifer did, that the airline's site be visited to check prices there also.
Flying Air Europa you can earn Continental Airlines OnePass miles. Iberia is partnered with AA.

This basically just shows your travel agent doesn't know much about that. Right now, the one-way fare on Iberia is about 33 euro (incl taxes) for that route.

It does seem a little early to book and it is certainly possible the flight times may change between now and Sept. They have enough flights on that route each day that I would not worry about all flights being cancelled -- you'd just get moved around some, no doubt. If you buy the ticket, they can't change the fare.

As Jenifer says, Travelocity isn't going to decide whether to cancel flights or change times, Iberia (or the airline) will.
