Planning a two weeks trip to the above cities. How many days should I spend in each.

I flew into Prague and out of Budapest. This is what I did:
Prague - 5 nights
Cesky Krumlov - 1 night
Vienna - 4 nights
Budapest - 4 nights

And, sadly, it's never enough time!

We did this trip last year.We flew RT to Vienna and visited realtives at the beginning and end. We then spent one night in Cesky Krumlov and three nights each in Prague and Budapest. We felt like we were able to see most of what we wanted with the timeline, but of course you can always spend lots more time. We did all of this via public transportation which worked well.

4-Prague - 6-Vienna- 4-Budapest

6 days in Vienna is too much IMHO - would cut back to 4 days

also consider a day in Bratislava

Bratislava is a day trip from Vienna -- just an hour away.

Budapest getting short shrift here and it shouldn't -- fine place, nice people.
