Hi, I am trying to put Prague in my travel plans for next year. My son and daughter will have school break at the end of February . Is it a good time to travel there? Many thanks in advance.

I was there in January and it was great. No crowds. Snowed a bit and was generally very cold though. Dress warm and you'll have a great time (I did).

Prague rocked this year for us when I was there in Feb. Cool but brilliantly sunny days. One night, it did snow, and transformed the place into a wonderland.

I stayed in the C.R. through most of feb this year...in Cesky Krumlov, Olomouc, and Prague. Didn't run into a single day of bad weather, but I guess I was lucky.

And as RAR said, no crowds!

February?? Beautiful....as Mina said, just a dusting of snow!!
In fact....we had to stay an extra day in Prague...blizzard in New York, prevented us from heading home!!

Few tourists...Yes, it was great!!
