Prague Accomodations/sights

Hi Can anyone suggest a reasonably priced place for me to stay in Prague with my mom. Also we will be there for 3 days what are some of the highlights in and around that we should take in?

Hi

What is your budget (in euro)? When are you travelling?

Hi,
You can find cheap and comfortable hotels near the city centre on www.a-prague.com. It´s quick and easy site for online booking. I use it every time and I was never disappointed.

henrik, you have mentioned that hotel booking site in about 10 Prague related threads in last hours. I'm curious, what so special about that site? I mainly do direct with hotels or via other sites such as venere.com. I tried your site before but somehow found it less user-friendly (than e.g.venere) so have never used it actually. Perhaps you can tell us what's better with that site. Otherwise it sounds like you are doing an advertisement in disguise (sorry if it's not the case).

Other travel talk sites are also being flooded with messages about that particular hotel reservation website as well. Dozens of threads several years old are being resurrected to plug the website.

We are staying at the Guest House Lida. This place is a b&b and has good reviews by many sources. They will pick you up from the airport and take you to the b&b for the same fee as a taxi and even show you where the ATM is.

I email directly to each hotel and b&b and always have had prompt and polite responses. And often the rates are cheaper.

We stayed 7 nights at the Hotel Kampa Garden on Kampa Island. Kampa Island is under the Charles Bridge and you could not ask for a better location. Kampa Island has its own charm, great views and while in the middle of things is quiet and peaceful. The Hotel (completely non-smoking) is nice too and a very good value.

You can see Kampa Island and the hotel:
