Portus Julius
Am trying to find the website of Portus Julius at the end of the Bay of Naples. The submerged ruins dating to 37 BC. How best to get there? There's a lot of history around that area.
Anyone been & can comment? I've typed portogiulio & got no results.

Twilight - Here's the website:
http://www.culturacampania.rai.it/si...o_di_baia.html
To get there you can take either
- Ferrovia Cumana, or
- Metro FFSS to Pozzuoli-Solfatara, then bus to Bacoli.
Hope this helps ...

Steve, you are spot on! Except I don't know how to read the English version....normally I do....can you give me a tip? I intend to print this out.
I hope this helps with others heading for the Naples....it's a really fascinating area & Pozzouli as well.

I was looking for one of those icons that showed a Union Jack flag to convert transalation. It's spot on though, & I'll emailed this to an Italian friend for a translation if all others fail.
But it would ruin my print out.
