Plus size shopping in Paris & London
Okay, I know most European women are very small and petite size. But....can anyone recommend places to buy chic size 14 plus clothes? I wear very stylish, professional, designer clothes and if I can buy it here in USA, surely I can buy it somewhere in Paris & London, maybe even at a discount? Stores names, recommendations PLEASE. Thanks!

There was a thread a year ago about plus size shopping in Paris and yes it does exist just not a lot of places.
London may be a better bet in the department stores you will find more choices and there is a chain called Etam for plus sizes in fashionable, not expensive clothes.

You will certainly have much more choice in the US, not to mention lower prices! You will be able to find things in the department stores (Selfridges, Harrods) but the one name that comes to mind is Marina Rinaldi. It's made by the Max Mara people, and they have shops as well as a concession in Harrods. Very stylish. You'll probably have more luck finding clothes in London than in Paris.

I forgot to mention Marks and Spencer as well. They are great for having a range of sizes and you can get everything from suits to sweaters. It would be mid priced range and not designer but good cuts and good staple pieces for a wardrobe.

There have been threads on finding regular plus-size clothes in London and Paris before and I think Evans would mostly fall into that category, though they do usually have a few more glamourous outfits too.
Debenhams department stores have a plus-size designer range and I can't remember the name of the designer - it's just slipped out of my brain. I'll post if I remember it.
Also department stores such as Fenwick also have designer franchises within their larger stores which often include some plus-size items.
I have only bought fairly ordinary everyday workclothes in Paris - I did find some trousers I loved in Etre Ronde en Couleurs but I didn't like their tops and others have said they didn't like anything in their store. And it was some years back that I was there...
