My daughter is presently in Stresa, Italy on her honeymoon then on to Cologne, Germany. She asked me to write for some suggestions (nothing like procrastinating!)<BR><BR>Could any of you give some suggestions as to good restaurants (some good buys, they have limited budget) and some sites for them to see? They will be eating at their hotel one night (Villa Aminta)in Stresa but have 2 more nights. In Cologne they are staying at the Excelsior Hotel Ernst and eating there one night.<BR><BR>Some suggestions for Colgne would be greatly appreciated. Does anyone have suggestions for them going on a river cruise while in Cologne and some idea of the cost? What other attractions could they see and do? They are there for 4 days.<BR><BR>I will forward any suggestions on to them.<BR><BR>Thanks for any help.<BR>

Try posting a more specific and accurate title... you'll (hopefully) get more replies, i.e., "Restaurants & Activities in Cologne"<BR>

In Cologne the cathedral is wonderful to see and the climb to the roof top has a good view. Very close there is a shop that sells Cologne from there--as that is how cologne was named. Marilyn

I suggest she grow up and do her own planning next time.
