Without a hesitation! I would Immediately book a room in Baden Baden at the Brenner's Park Hotel --make sure you get a nice room overlooking the park--enjoy the village, the mountain and the Spas!!! Forget hopping around all over the place. You can take a day trip to Strousburg or into Siwtzerland from there. This would be THE ideal place for a honeymoon in my book. I have traveled all over the world and still for R & R and romance this is a favorite of mine. Since neither of you may have been to Baden Baden it is perfect to explore the area together.

BB does make a nice honeymoon stop. And while Brenner's is fab, I would also look at the 5 star Dorint/Sofitel, which is more modern, has a somewhat younger clientele (except when Brenner's is over-run with British footballer WAGs) and also has an in-house spa (a bit different from Brenner's). Depends on whether your tastes are traditional or contemporary (and I would let your wife to be make the choice, since the honeymoon destination, Germany, was YOUR choice). Brenners setting is more impressive, though, as it's right on the park.
