Can we use the Bayern ticket for the RVO bus from Salzburg to Berchtesgaden, (since the bus leaves Salzburg at 9.18am while the train leaves at 9.41am)? We would like to visit Konigsee and Jennerbahn from Salzburg. I presume the Bayern ticket can be used for all RVO buses? The RVO website has a page on Bayern Ticket but it's in German:
http://www.rvo-bus.de/tickets/fahren...-angebote.html
And is it true that there is now no 9am rule on the weekends for the Bayern Ticket? We want to make full use of the daytrip because we will be doing quite a bit of hiking at Berchtesgaden.

That page indicates that the Bayern Ticket isn't valid on RVO routes in other countries - so you might need to pay for the stretch between Salzburg and Marktschellenberg or so, or travel via Freilassing. It's valid before 9 am on weekends.
Why not just take the train between Salzburg and B'gaden and use the RVO bus from there? It's completely covered by the Bayern Ticket.
