Hello all,

Looking for some help in the Piemonte Region of Italy.

My wife and I will be spending a week there next September 2008 and I am trying to beat the rush by booking a villa/apartment now.

We're looking for a villa within a town or small villiage around Alba in the Langhe. I have searched many many sites and come up empty. Although there are many beautiful villas, none seem to be 'in' the towns.

My preference is an apartment within Alba itself but a good second would be inside a small town within the same region. And of course, a decent kithcen so we can cook and enjoy some of the regions gourmet foods.

Does anybody have any advice with regard to finding an apartment/villa in this area?

Any comments fr advice would be VERY much appreciated.
