Phoning home from London
We will be in London soon and would like to know the least expensive way of calling home. We were warned about the high charges of using a phone card from our own carrier. Has anyone had any experience using a prepaid international phone card purchased in London? Any pros, cons, problems, or hints? Thanks for your help.

Purchase a phone card from the local post office once in London. The card I purchased was 10 BPS for 200 minutes at 5 pence per minute with no connecting charge. They come in 5, 10 and 20 BPS increments. Very simple to use, just follow the instructions. Called home every night to keep in touch. Have a wonderful time.
