sure, as far as I know. Why wouldn't it be? They show AMEX as a possibility in the section where you are asked to pay, so they must accept it.

You just can't use it to get tickets automatically at a machine as it doesn't have a chip, that's all (or retrieve them, but if you have a pREM and print it, that shouldn't be an issue anyway).

I've never used anything BUT Amex to purchase PREMs or any other SNCF tickets.

Thank you everyone, I think I was reading the bit about tix machines. Now I just have to print them out and then book 7 more tix over the course of the next 10 days. (Don't ask--people are arriving and departing on different days and I'm in charge of the TGV tix) Should be a pro by the time I'm done!!!!

BTW any issues re printing as I will be emailing tix to others so they can print.

It was last summer but I seem to recall I had a choice of PDF or
HTML format to print out the tickets.

It might be an idea for you to download them once purchased, email to the others and keep a copy just in case...
