Pisso Livadi is a beautiful beachfront village. So is Naoussa. Golden Beach is great for windsurfing and sunbathing. Rent a scooter for fun and ease of exploring the island. Go to the mountain village of Lefkes. Take one of the shuttle ferries across to Antiparos. If you do rent a scooter you can take it with you from the little port of Pounta on the west side of the island. The main village of Parikia is full of little shops and lots of restaurants, some right along the water. Be sure to visit the Church of 100 Doors and the archaeological museum. If you want a clean and inexpensive room, try Alexandra's Rooms, about 1/4 mile from the ferry dock along the water between the Hotel Paros and the shop called 'Colors'.

You can take an excursion boat from Naoussa to Delos and Mykonos.

I wish I could help more, I really enjoyed Paros, but it was over 20 years ago that I was there. What I recall was the most fun was going to the docks and having the little water taxis take us and drop us at completly secluded beaches, at that time for 35 cents,, and they would return later in day in serveral trips and pick up people. Bring your own water and snacks, there was a boy who carried a cooler around and sold drinks but he didn't come everyday.

I loved Myknonos for fun and nightlife, but Paros was really lovely for relaxing and beaching the beaches were beautiful, the water warm and clear, it was a dream.

Take a day trip to Antiparos. Quick ferry, lovely waterfront, interesting cave and beautiful views. We enjoyed the Valley of the Butterflies (Petaloudes) - a beautiful forest with hundreds of thousands of sleeping butterflies. Quite cool! Lefkes was one of my favourites - a beautiful mountain village. My husband loved Naoussa.

Found a great hotel in Naoussa, Hotel Manto, across the street from the local beach. Took ferry over to rock beach. Ate at Oinou and La Dolce Vida in town. Both were great. Busses very reliable. Very quiet in midJun. Very HOT!
