Chocaholic: Did you end up deciding to go with Bleu Marine Montparnasse? We are planning a trip to Paris and are considering this hotel vs. Hotel Littre, which is pricier.

Report on Hotel de France Invalides. I stayed there last week. The coldest week in Paris apparently......

We were in Paris a few weeks ago. We stayed in the 7th and I loved the neighborhood feel of the area surrounding Rue Cler. We've also stayed in the 1st, 6th and 8th.

When we went to the 6th, it was soooo crowded (middle of a week day, not high season) that I felt almost crushed. The sidewalks are so narrow. I think it's become way too tourist filled and doubt we'll stay there again. It was stressful enough just to walk there!
