Paris weather

I'll be in Paris starting Sunday for about a week. I know it generally rains a lot at that time of year and this year will be no different. However, is the rain usually of the hard driving, turn your umbrella inside out type or the drizzly, can still walk around in it type of rain.

How long is a piece of string? It's not that predictable, but chances are that if there is rain at all, it will be more manageable than stormy.

A little OT, but I love that French expression for hard driving rain: Il tombe des cordes - Ropes are falling! Just as much fun in its way as our cats-and-dogs idiom.
