Paris Walking Tours

Any suggestions? I know about the Paris branch of London Walks, but they don't seem to have many walks listed. Is there a Time Out Paris in English I can pick up when there? I am leaving this Friday, for 7 days.

I've only used Paris Walks (and they do two / day) but there is also Classic Paris Walks...

Have you ruled out DIY walking tours? Degas did some pretty darn good ones:

Organized Paris Walking Tours

Paris Vision Plus www.parisvision.com

Les Balades de Magalie www.lesbaladesdemaglie.com

City Walks of Paris; www.citywalksofparis.com

Ca se Visite Belleville; www.ca-se-visite.fr

Paris a Pied; www.parisapied.fr

Paris Go: www.parisgo.fr

But ditto to Degas' walks he has written up on Fodors.

The Belleville walk above could be much different than the other more conventional walks it seems.

I've done 3 or 4 Paris Walks. They definitely have many available.

Thirza Valois has a series books with walks for each arrondissement, with in-depth history and descriptions.

If you haven't left yet, I just found these last night. You can download them to your computer and put them on an ipod or cd.

I don't think they have a Time Out Paris in English available, but I could be wrong on that. I do remember getting one a long time ago (about 10 years at least), so they did at one time, but I don't remember seeing one lately. I just buy l'Officiel des Spectacles or Pariscope anyway, though, but those are in French. They used to have a section in Pariscope in English, actually, that was done by Time Out and that's been gone a few years, so I think they may not work there any more doing that for some reason. They certainly have books still.
