Paris Taxi Question
We will be staying on a river boat docked at Parc Andre Citroen. Would like to take taxi to famous flea markets during our free time. One is about 4 km and the other 8km. What might we expect to pay (approximately) for taxi to each?

Here is useful link about taxis in Paris: http://www.taxisg7.fr/public/infospr...imercourse.php
It allows you to estimate your cost based on time of day (night is more expensive). I tried from Parc Andre Citroen to the gare du Nord which is 17KM and is estimated between 20-25 euros which is about right-to check it I tried from my house in Paris in the 3rd to the airport and it showed between 49 to 61 euros which is the right range, depending on luggage time of day etc.
If you don't read French you can contact me at my email on my profile and I will be happy to help-it is a nifty little link. It is off of one the taxi companies I use a lot. Also, here is a good general link about taxis in English with the taxi stands and numbers listed.

The Porte de Vanves flea market is not very far away. The Porte de Clignancourt and Porte de Montreuil flea markets are significantly lengthier trips.
They're all easy to get to by metro, however.

Sorry-my mistake. Gare du nord is 17KM if you take the périphérique-only 10KM through town (taking into account driving distance on google versus "as the crow flies"). Unfortunately the G7 site doesn't give you the option to choose the route-so that is why they give you kind of a big range in prices.
