Paris shopping guide

For all of you going to Paris this summer, Lucky magazine has an extensive shopping guide in the June issue. It includes little neighborhood maps so you can find the stores!

Thank you! I'm going this summer and desparately need an education on the different department stores and other stores. One problem -- maybe I'm showing my age, but, what's Lucky magazine?

LUCKY magazine is a new launch specifically targeted at Americans bringing Yankee Dollars to France, and is sponsored in its entirety by the merchants in little neighborhoods (the ones shown in the maps).

Lucky is a shopping source magazine, as if we needed that! LOL
Thanks laurelt, I like browsing through those maps, having just been in March, it is fun to see if my own discoveries are noted.

I think they are online too , try www.luckymag.com

Funny, Robespierre
It is a marketing magazine, about shopping all over the world, and targeting younger women.
Also, only sold in the US.

I've been meaning to post this question, and I think it fits well under this thread...

If anyone is so inclined, I'd love a bit of a tutorial on Paris department stores. They vary so widely in the states, from higher end like Neiman Marcus, to lower end like JC Penney. Is it the same in Paris? Please, explain.

If I were you, I would pick up the shopping guide called,"Where wear".It can be bought in travel stores in the U.S. or go on Amazon.com. Happy Travels!
