Paris Restaurant Suggestions Please!
I’ll be in Paris (hurrah - finally traveling again!) with my adult son for a week in June. We’ll be staying in the Rue Git le coeur area in the 5th Arr. Any suggestions for eating spots - modest or otherwise - in the 5th or 6th would be appreciated. I’ve been to Paris numerous times and enjoyed indulging myself at more than a few high end restaurants along with budget friendly spots. I do plan on returning for a meal at L’Ange 20 (thanks Maitai Tom!) a sure bet, as well as Le Relais de L’entrecote, Breizh Cafe, Restaurant Benoit, maybe Bouillon Racine. Thanks for any and all recommendations.

It’s been several years, but we enjoyed Les Papilles in the 5th. It’s a chef’s choice menu so you don’t know what you are going to get but we loved it. They have a wine shop where you can purchase a bottle to go with your meal. A fun place for something a little different.

Yup, Les Papilles right around the corner from where we stay, and looking fwd to it in early October. How about Semilla? Ok, so added L'Ange20 to my spreadsheet - MaiTaiTom has great advice usually, he led us to a couple great ones in Southern CA.

Are you up for checking out HungryOnion.org? They have a Paris board where the Parisian refugees from the now defunct Chowhound site post. Very knowledgeable and helpful. For less authoritative information, my trip reports have details of my Paris restaurant experiences. Of course, pre-covid reports are subject to the changes that have happened in the last two years.

Thanks so much for suggestions thus far. Ive been checking HungryOnion.org as well. At this point I’ll run out of days before the restaurant list has been exhausted. Then I’ll have to return to Paris yet again toting up an even dozen visits. 😉
