To Fiucimino (FCO)

My apt is between Roma Ostiense and Roma Travestvere. My flight leaves at 805am. Am I better off heading to Termini and getting the Leonardo Express or taking the F1 from Ostiense or Travestvere? 5am is early to be on the street but have done it before, so that is not so much of an issue.

You're better off taking a cab. If you look at the schedule the first FL1 gets to the airport at 5.50. The first express just after.

Where is your flight going? Those times are okay within the Schengen zone but if you're heading outside the normal guideline is three hours.

I don’t think you would gain anything by going all the way to Termini. I’ve used Trastevere station & much prefer it, but probably wouldn’t with your time constraints if you can book a ride ahead. Last trip I had an early departure & booked a car service which made it very relaxed.

My destination is the US but my flight from Rome connects through Munich. Do I still need the 3 hours? Thanks.

No if you're flying to Munich first then it's only two hours. But the issue is if you miss that first train you're cutting it close.
