Paris - please help me choose apartment for 1 week in May

Suddenly presented with an opportunity to visit Paris in May. Need to scramble and find an apartment for 2 people. We have been before, like the 6th Arre., like to be near the "action" of Blvd. St. Germain. Want to be close to good buses, metros, transportation. Need good options of cafes, markets. Here are some options given to us, please help me choose - please share your thoughts, comments, thanks!

Easy for me... by the River! .8929.aspx

But if you've been in that area before, why don't you branch out and try, say... Marais? Close to all your requests.

I enjoyed staying in the 16th for a few days too.

On one of our trips we stayed a few days at the Lutece Hotel which in the vicinity of the 1st 2 apts. you have listed. The area was nice but it was too far away from the action of St. Germain/St. Michel/river around Notre Dame for us. For that reason only we would choose one of the last 2 apts. you have listed although the last 2 might be noisy because of the active location.

For the last few years we choose to stay on Ile St. Louis. Close to the action but a bit quieter for street noise. We've had some more expensive but this apt. is one we will choose again.

I see it is open in May. Mr. Goudet is great to work with and his office is closeby for any help you might need--reservations, etc.

We loved the large main room with tall windows for a lot of light--no view though. i flight of stairs up, excellent location, 3 bakeries and 2 grocery shops close by, large bed in loft.
Downsides if any, narrow cirular stairway, bath & drawers upstairs but large closet is on main floor, no dishwasher or oven (just cooktop & microwave.) Take a look.

We have stayed 4 times on Ile St. Louis and for us it is the perfect location just a bridge away from the action and close to our favorite restaurants.

My favorite 1 bedroom:

The owner is charming and helpful. I'll return. The apartment is exceptionally well located in the middle of the rue Cler neighborhood but its situation (opening out onto a courtyard) makes you feel as if you are staying in the quiet outskirts of the city. It is indeed luminous, as Louis advertises it to be.

Easy easy easy: #3

Location of #3 on the river and 2 blocks to Rue de Buci is as central to the "action" you want as it gets.

#4 is 2nd place for location but that bedroom ceiling (3 ft. off the floor?) would be an automatic deal killer for me...

#1 & #2 are both in nice enough neighborhoods but nowhere even near Blvd. St. Germain.
