Paris photos on line

It's nearly two years since I went to Paris (2004), but I've finally uploaded a selection of my husband's and my photos. I haven't yet id'd them yet, so I hope you'll just enjoy the feeling of the city. I promise to id them in June, after I get my masters degree in June. I've got it set so anyone can view them.

PS. I'm not a kid anymore, either! There's only so much I can multi-task. This photo album is a project born out of procrastinating completing my course work!

Gomiki,
I wish I knew the street. I'll ask my more detail-obsessed husband if he can figure it out.

I appreciate the comments! It was our first time with a point-and-shoot digital camera instead of schlepping a film SLR with lenses. Going light instead of carrying the weight of equipment is a great advantage, but from someone used to shooting with more equipment, it took getting used to thinking visually with a lot less control. But definitely more convenient!

The street was the rue Saint Dominique in the Seventh.

I like the last one - where he blows you a kiss with J'taime written in the background!

Thanks for sharing your photos. You have embarrassed me into digging mine out and uploading them. I, too, have been procastinating - and I have no excuses.

Hi, Chandrayoung,
The building is on the Viaduc Des Arts, a former viaduct/small railroad, which was converted to a walkway. I got a kick out of the way the building just seemed to be cut in half.

Don't worry, it took me almost two years to get these posted. And it will probably be another two years before I finish the trip!

progol, you have a wonderful eye for those magical moments. I loved the photo of the young woman in the boulangerie.

Thanks for posting these.

Like Anselm, we walked the same street, and you brought it alive again.
