Paris-Hotel Saint Paul or Hotel des Deux-Iles
will be in Paris 2 maybe 3 nights. Want a good location but also "old world charm". These two hotels look like what I want, but would like more info or photos if anyone has any. thanks

Hi cindy,
Could you post links to both of these hotels? Maybe even people who haven't stayed there can then take a quick look and give you an opinion. But I think I've heard these hotels mentioned here before, so hopefully you'll get some first hand accounts.

The Deux Iles is nicely located on the Ile St. Louis. The hotel room we had was simply furnished but comfortable; the bathroom should be remodeled though as it is showing signs of age.
The St. Paul I've never stayed at but the location is good for the Latin Quarter even though it's in the 6th district.

help! Cindy's been trying to get feedback on these hotels for a while...

I'm not crazy about the rooms at Deux Iles at all, although people really like that location. The Saint Paul rooms are a bit bright for my taste, but a few of them look quite nice. I imagine I might like their attic rooms.

Does anyone have alternate suggestions for Cindy if you're not crazy about these two particular hotels?
Sorry, wish I could be more helpful, the only hotel I've stepped into in Paris is this one -- I thought it was very cute and a good rate. Near excellent buslines and the metro is 5 min away.
