Paris Hotel des Saints-Peres??

Hi Again! I'm still looking for the perfect hotel. Have any one stay or know anything about the Hôtel des Saints-Pères??
It is on the rue des Saints-Pères, almost over the Saint Germain blvd. Please help me decide. Thanks!!

I'll have to check but I think this is where I stayed several years ago. I would highly recommend it. I brought several people from my tour group here and they were very pleased.I will check to make sure this it's same place.

If you type "saints peres AND hotel" into the text box, you'll pull up plenty of threads mentioning it, most favorably. Here is the most recent one:

We love the Stes-Peres and stay there each time we are in Paris. For us, it is the perfect hotel but others have their favorites, too. The location is great. The hotel is quiet, charming, and welcoming. The rooms are larger than most 3 stars in St. Germaine and the bathrooms are spacious. We have always had a wonderful stay with good service. I am saddened to say that last week, I tried to make reservations for our September trip only to learn that all rooms have been reserved in a block for trade show participants. I highly recommend the S-P but reserve early.

Just checking back to let you know it is the same place. I can only echo mamc's comments.

Hi, does anyone know the difference between the standard double vs. the larger double besides the diff. in room size?
Thanks.

I'm not sure of the difference. We have always reserved the standard double and, as noted above, it is larger than double rooms in many 3* in Paris - although the Saints-Peres is a bit more expensive than nice 3* hotels with smaller doubles such as Le Regent and Hotel Verneiul.

HI-- ditto that it is a great hotel. Take the larger room if available. I assume that is what we had when we stayed there--wonderful huge king bed and one of the most luxurious bathrooms we have ever had in *any* hotel. I cannot imagine that was just a standard double but I cannot say for sure. Also, the way the room was set up, there was no noise from the hallway at all.

PS--not sure what you mean by "almost over the Saint Germain blvd." It is about 2 longish blocks from SG Blvd.

Actually, it is less than one block south of St Germaine Blvd. It is about 2 minutes walk unless you are delayed by the wonderful Sonya Rykeil windows on your way.

Hi thanks for the room descriptions. I love the area and it's only a couple of blocks from my other fave hotel, Le Verneuil. Would be nice to stay at both and kinda thinking about it.
