Message: I will be going to Paris in June with my daughter and nephew. We will be staying for ten days. I have narrowed my hotel choice to the following three: <BR><BR>Villa Pantheon<BR>K&amp;K Cayre<BR>Hotel Du Danube<BR><BR>Any thoughts would be greatly appreciate.<BR><BR>Thanks....<BR>

I will be so curious what people have to say about K&amp;K Cayre. It looked great on their website, but couldn't find any articles about it. We are staying at Le Clos Medicis next month, would love to hear if anyone has stayed there.

Hotel Danube is always my hotel in Paris. The location is perfect, service is outstanding. It is a gem! PJ

Hi Carla,<BR>We stayed at the Danube a couple of years ago and really liked it. We asked for a room on the courtyard, being on the street can be noisy. The room had a chandelier, twin beds pushed together, antiques and a modern bath with hand held shower only, no shower curtain. But it was fine.<BR>The staff speaks English well and go out of their way to be helpful. They will book any reservations you ask them to, loan you an umbrella if it is raining. <BR>So of these three, the Danube is my choice

We stayed at the Du Danube in October and Scarlett is right--it's a good hotel. The best part is the location and the staff--especially accomodating. They made several dinner reservations for us, had cabs ready when needed, etc.<BR><BR>One downside: We also asked for a courtside room and several times during the night we were awakened by loud (I mean LOUD) booms. The last night I finally made it out of bed and to the window in time to see them dragging trashcans across the courtyard from the four sides of the building. Dump trash--BOOM--drag cans and repeat.<BR><BR>You might also look at the Millesime, I've heard good things about it as well and it's right down the street from the Du Danube.

We stayed at d'Angleterre a few doors away from the Danube. I heard many good things-and a couple of unfavorable things-about the Danube. I would never recommend the d'Angleterre however. We paid 240 euro for a room that clearly needed maintenance; I don't see what all the fuss is about with this hotel. The Millesime is higher up the street and wished we had stayed there instead as it looked alot better.

Anyone knows about Grand Hotel Hausmann inParis near the Opera? Thanks for your comments.
