Paris Hotel Choice - I need help

Planning a trip to Paris for next summer. I will be traveling with two female family members. We are trying to decide on a hotel in Paris for three nights. Each woman will have her own room. We are looking at the following and would appreciate any thoughts or ideas on these choices.

Hotel de Lutece
Hotel des Lettres
Hotel duAbsson
Relais Christine

Looking for charm & location.
Thank you for your help.

Hi lovely,

if you search this forum, you will find threads on both left-bank and right-bank hotels. they might help. also reviews on TA, hotels.com, veneer, can be quite useful. you could even just search for the names of those hotels to see if they have been mentioned here.

good luck.

We've stayed at Hotel de Lutece but it has been several years ago. We loved the Ile St Louis location. The rooms were on the small side but, with singles that may not be an issue. The room was well appointed and the price was certainly reasonable. We would definitely stay there again if using a hotel.

I second Lutece and especially its location. Central location, good access to both Banks, metro, RER to airport. Nice main street with shops and good selection of restaurants.

Relaid Christine is another good choice.

I would go for Relais Christine or Hotel d'Aubusson. I am a fan of the 6th arrondisement, so I like those for location and reputation.

You might take a look at Trip Advisor for recent reviews on the hotels you mentioned.

Thank you for your replies. Yes, I have checked TripAdvisor and Hotels.com but I like to get a response from some of you on this board as well. Feels more like I am talking to a good friend.
thanks again

When I saw your list, I thought that Relais Christine and Hotel d'Aubusson are two places where I've always felt I'd like to stay.

We have stayed at Relais Christine and the D'aubusson Hotels. We enjoyed both ,but prefer the D'aubusson due to the superior service. They also have some good deals where if you stay a certain number of days, you get a full breakfast, a cruise on the Seine, a concert at Sainte Chapelle, a lunch, and best of all-pickup at the airport which is included in their rate. They also have a wonderful jazz club. I have written a more complete review on Trip Advisor. Enjoy Paris.
