Paris - Hotel

Has anyone stayed in Les Jardins de la Villa, on the Rue Belidor? If so, please tell us about it and if you recommend it. Thanks very much.

Well it describes itself as being in the heart of Paris, and its not , but the reviews on tripadvisor.com are good, other then some noting the location is not central to anything but the Champs Elysees and the Arc de Triomphe, good if you like shoppping. You will take the metro or buses to most other sites.
One other thing I noted, do be careful if you book a non refundable rate, it is non refundable no matter what( I am not sure why people book those rates, then cancel, then whine that the hotel sticks to arrangment.

The location sucks, though I'm sure for a lot of novices who think the Champs Elysées is the go-to location in Paris, it's appealing. It's not.

Well if you interested in location then what are your requirements, if you are a shopper then you may like that area, or perhaps near the Grand Boulevards where the big department stores are..
I prefer the 4th 5th and 6th , historical old Paris, lots of tiny shops and cafes, and many museums ( Orsay, Cluny, Invalids etc, and Louvre is literally across the river from the 6th, )
It appears you like a more modern type hotel, I am not able to help you with that, but if you put out a specific post about a hotel that meets your requirements I am sure there are many here who can give some good leads for you to look into.
