Good morning,
There are many hotels mentioned here, but one that gets regular recognition is the Hotel Bonaparte in the 6th. Although I have not stayed there yet (we will do so next month - our room rate was 129euros for five nights in May.), one of the most frequent Fodor's forum members, 'Ira", highly recommends it and praises it regularly.
The 6th is a very popular, central and active area in which to stay.

Hi V,
As noted, the Bonaparte is a very well located, nice 2* hotel.
