Nikki,
I'm sorry I missed both GTGs, but by Monday night my daughter and I were pretty tired from 3 days of seeing Paris. We had an early dinner and early bedtime.
Although rain was predicted all 4 days we were there, we did get lucky and have some nice sunny days even if we needed to carry our umbrellas for unexpected squalls. It poured during our Seine cruise but we still enjoyed it even if we were pretty cold and soggy.
We got to the new Marie Antoinette exhibit at the Grand Palais on Monday and I highly recommend it for anyone interested in this period of history. I really enjoyed it. It is there until June I believe.
Sigh. I'm already plotting when I can next get away to Paris.

Yes, all 3 of us went on the bike ride Monday evening and had a fantastic time! It was pouring when we met at the Eiffel tower, but the rain stopped when we started our ride, and was dry all night. 12 people showed up for the ride, but no other Fodor's.
We did so much in Paris the 3 1/2 days we were there. Our 11 yr. old grandson loved sailing a sailboat in the bassin in Luxingburg Gardens on Easter afternoon! We "ran" up the stairs of the Eiffel tower, and visited Invalides Armory museum, the Branley, Louvre, the wonderful color photography exhibit at Hotel de Ville, and so, so much more. He loved Normandy also. Says he'd love to live there! The new museum at Omaha beach is wonderful. Not to large, but excellent. We visited each of the 5 landing beaches and the big sites along them.
Sorry we missed the rest of you.
