Paris France self-catering

We will be in Paris for four nights early august & would like to do self-catering.Any recommendations please. A central lively area is what we are looking for at a reasonable price

We Parisians "self-cater" each and every day, and it is not really a problem. We have supermarkets, delis, bakeries and a number of other places that sell food in town.

www.rentparis.com has a few apartments within your budget. Some are small, but will serve your purpose well.

Check the Paris Apartment thread above as well as slowtrav.com for reviews of individual apartments. I have used Guest Apartment Services (more than 100E/night) in the past and will be using Paris Best Lodge (a number of apartments within your budget) in less than a week.

Keep in mind that A/C might be necessary in August depending on where you're from and what you're accustomed to.

Wonderful rentals through www.rothray.com. Ray Lampard is gracious, efficient, and fair. You can get a cute studio with an excellent kitchen for 100euro or less. We have rented from Ray twice and will do so again. His service makes all the difference! Immaculate and very attractive apartments in excellent locales.

Annie May, I am in Paris now. The apartment is terrific, everything is as it should be. I do know that Paris Best Lodge apartments book waaayyy in advance, so if you are interested in one or some (I did not get my first few choices and reserved in March), I would contact Thierry pronto.
