Ah, the tone of the kill joy.....there's always one out there! Help comes in all shapes and forms, both pre and post trips. Forums are for discussion - and this one in particular is about my 'find' before our trip. More to follow....I make no apologies for being 'excited' as you put it! Previous posters have found what I had to share 'helpful' in it's infancy.

The post was helpful. Look at how many ppl bookmarked.
I spent WAY too much time at that apt site yesterday. It almost sounds too good to be true. Please post back! I myself am loosely planning at the moment; this site has helped. I do have pros and cons with the site.
PROS:
The rates for 1 BR apts are very cheap.
Quick communication from owner!
Clear photos at almost each corner of the spaces. This was the case for most of the apts I looked at on the site, so much so, that I was able to draw up a quick blueprint on graph paper to scale. This allowed me decide what would work and not work for me. Some sites out there give very little in the way of pics to help one visualize the total space. David is willing to send additional photos if asked!
CONS:
When entering search criteria, the results are displayed in alphabetical order. This is a problem b/c you cannot know in the results list WHERE the apt may be. This is an issue if you are searching city wide. The only way I could tell where the apt was (by arrondissment), was to click the apt name/pic in the results list and view its' individual page. This gets lengthy when you have dozens of apts to sift thru.
I don't like the fact that you have to ask what the exact address is either. I wish it was printed in the listing as I have found on other apt sites (e.g. VIP); then I can Google and even do a street view and find stores etc in my potential neighborhood. The closest geographic pin-point is the nearest metro station.
I am still exploring the site. It is truly a hot find of the week for me! Thx again Ronael

I do agree with Suze. Kill joy to you but the words of reason to me. Don't get carried away too much. After all you have not stayed there yet. From the title of this thread, I thought you had, misleading.

I didn't mean to be a kill-joy. How is it criticizing or patronizing to ask that you let us know how things really turned out after you've actually stayed in this apartment? No one can no for sure what any accomodation they arrange will be like, until they've stayed there. I thought what I posted was perfectly reasonable.
