If you concern is more about timings then you need to look at 1) the metro timetable and 2) the map of CDG to see how far you have to walk to get to the metro

If you are worried about the metro (can cover a lot of worries), I would say absolutely not in terms of this being advisable. What are you considering, a couple hours in Paris before somehow getting to Disney that very same night? Sorry, I think this is crazy when you aren't landing until 5 pm.

You can take the VEA bus from CDG directly to many hotels near Disney:
http://www.vea.fr/
Or you can take the RER directly into Paris: 9.25€ each. It takes about one hour to reach most destination. You can even leave your luggage at either Gare du Nord (on the inbound leg) or Gare de Lyon (on the outbound to Disney leg), visit Paris then continue on the RER A4 to Disney; 7.10€ and about another hour.
Arriving CDG at 5pm will not give you a lot of time in Paris.

I can't imagine what your worries are about the Paris métro, but if you're landing at CDG at 5 pm with a 12-year-old (from where? overseas?) and your destination is Disneyland, no, I can't see trying to traipse around Paris first, especially with luggage.
