Paris 8 days - 4 days free - where should we take the kids

We have 8 days in Paris and have 4 days free to explore anywhere. Travelling with 5yrs old and 7 yrs old - cost not an issue - should we jump on a plane - Greece - Italy - or the coast somewhere - we were thinking the kids might like a beach atmosphere for a bit of a relax before we head to London.

It depends when you will be in Paris. Obviously south will be the best option. Spain is also an option. You may find high class hotels with club for kids. Andalucia is the warmest with good food and a lot of cultural spots to visit...

Maybe some place in Spain or just southern France.

I don't see the point in flying all the way to Greece and then back up to London with only four free days, the flights and attendant time for them will take about half your time.

Spain or Rome - Which is best suited to the children - I will get some guide books for each - thanks for the advice and more advice is appreciated.

What about Portugal? Our children were 4 and 7 when we took them, and it was late August/early September. Beautiful weather and so much to see. Everyone was very friendly to the kids as well.

In September, Barcelona region is OK. Low cost Airlines (vueling) goes there. Big city with activities and godd 4* hotels on the beach only 30 minutes from downtown. In South Spain, you may try Marbella (check Costa del Sol web site).
