Parador de Carmona in Seville/Spain
If you have stayed here, can you tell me your overall impression (Tripadvisor reviews are fantastic), rooms to avoid if any, and what's the best way to get a good rate besides calling the Parador directly. And anything else 
I need two rooms but for only one night in April. Thanks.

depending on your age, you may qualify for a discount.
i do not see parador rooms discounted otherwise. sometimes you can use a voucher that doesn´t include breakfast.

maybe someone else knows something but the paradors are very regimented as to price, not like other hotels.

Dukey, 30 km out of Seville. NO problems with that. Carmona is a pretty little town, and you can get buses (if you want... I don't... I will have a nice car at my disposal 
to Seville.
Lincasanova, thanks. Price is always an issue (hence the post) but NOT a dealbreaker. My bigger concern is if there are rooms with a better view than others.
