Packing question for Paris..velvet?
I know it's a silly question but.......does anyone have an opinion of packing velvet? I love my black jacket, would go well for dinners, dress up or down...but I've never packed it. Please don't jump all over me but is there a secret for not crushing velvet in your suitcase! Sorry...but thanks!

RonZ is right on, if you dry clean them, then just stick them in the luggage with the plastic bags, and they will be fine, but why would you be concerned about a velvet jacket "crushing?" I have 3 velvet coats and a jacket -and they are very hardy-I never have to worry about them getting wrinkled when I put them in a suitcase!

Wow, again you come to my rescue! I thought the jacket may fold & get a permanent crease, sort of like a hair part! Great, it is going in my suitcase & I'll wear it to Les Ombres in Paris on our 20th anniversay. Thanks guys
