Only 1 day each. Suggestions for "MUST SEE"
Belfast, Cork,Dublin,Falmouth, Glasgow,Inverness, Paris, Liverpool. Taking cruise into these places for just 1 day each. Any suggestions on what's a must to see in each would be appreciated. This is our 1st trip to all! Thanks.

Paris, the Eiffle Tower of course, but with so little time, if the lines are long, I'd skip going up to the top unless you really want to. That might be YOUR must do. There is so much to do there, it's hard to say. Is there anything is Paris that you have yearned to see?
You might want to perhaps take the hop-on, hop off bus. They go all over the city so you would get to see the city and you can see where they stop, so could pick the couple of places that really interest you. I'm not sure you'd want to spend hours in the Louvre, for example, with such a short amount of time.
Does the ship offer a tour? I know you can do everything on your own, but again, with such a short amount of time, a tour can often cover more ground than you can on your own, especially not being familiar with a place, trying to find places etc.

Le Havre is over 120 miles from Paris - how are you getting to Paris from the cruise port? How much time do you have, are we talking about 12 hours, 10 hours, 8 hours? It'll take at least 4 hours r/t to get to Paris.
Have you considered visiting the area in Normandy, like Honfleur, or Rouen?

Exactly - how do you "cruise" to Paris. The Seine is (sorry, but it is) a tiny little river - and can take only barges and flatboats. Assume you are docking at Le Havre or similar and taking train or bus into Paris - which will be at least 2 hours each way.
You need to look at how long you actually have in these places - after you're taken out the time to get from the port to the city.

I can only help with Belfast, Dublin and Liverpool.
Belfast - Black Cab Tour,
Dublin - Book of Kells, Temple Bar area, Guiness (if interested).
Liverpool - S George's Hall, Beatles sights (if interested).
I wouldn't bother going to Paris, you won't be able to see much.
