I assume that because you are new to this forum that you might not realize we are not paid travel agents. We are people who love to travel and some of us have traveled extensively, so we like to assist other travelers in planning their trips and answering specific questions they might have. We don't plan someone's trip for them, and we don't list all the highlights of a country or city.

It is helpful if you do some research yourself and have some ideas of where you want to go in Portugal and what you want to see. Giving us some information about yourself is very helpful, too, such as your likes and dislikes, are you a solo traveler or traveling by yourself, approximate age range, etc.

It appears from your question that you don't know anything about Portugal. Why did you choose Portugal? The first thing you should do is purchase some good guidebooks, such as Michelin Green Guide, Rough Guides, Lonely Planet, Rick Steves, etc. You can also search for trip reports on this forum. You can click on my name to search for my trip report on Lisbon and Sintra in April 2018.

After you do some of your own research, and come up with a draft itinerary, then we can be of more help to you.

Highlights: Lisbon, Porto, Coimbra, towns and monestaries in between. Even that requires more than a week. You will have to choose. I suggest Lisbon, Porto, Coimbra, Obidos and Batalha.

Start browsing through guidebooks.
