Now What - Rome B&B
Hey Guys:
I'm stuck for lodging...Got a great tip for low-cost lodging in Rome. You guys recommended Franterna Domus and what a great recommendation. After 1.5 months of faxing and after emailing them twice, I finally called and spoke to Sister Milena and unfortunately, there are no rooms available during the time I requested. So my friend and I are back to square one and in panic mode.
I am calling on your mercy again, can anyone recommend decent lodging in the Navona area.
We will be forever grateful.
Thanks

There's the other nearby convent, Istituto Santa Giuliana Falconieri, but it's most likely booked up too. It also does not have private baths, except for a very few rooms.
When are you traveling, and what is your budget? My first recommendation, if you haven't done so already, is expand your list of acceptable areas.

Thanks guys:
I did try Istituto Santa Giuliana Falconieri, they are not answering their phone and I know it's near 10p there, so I will try again in the morning.
We will be in Rome Sept 19-22 and our budget was 85E per night for both. I guess we can go up to 100E per night if we have to. I'll keep looking though.
Any other areas much like Navona?
Thanks

I don't know that there are any areas that are really like Navona, but Trastevere and Monti are often recommended. Casa Rosario convent in Monti has great reviews, but is also probably booked. At this point, finding anywhere central at that budget and at this time will be a challenge, so I'd focus more on that aspect.
