Non alcoholic beer
Hi all,
We will be in London next week and look I'm wondering.....are there typically non alcoholic beers available in pubs? In my older years, I find drinking gives me a splitting headache. If not, guess I'll have to take a few sips and pass the rest on to DH.
cheers!

There are “non-alcoholic” beers available, one example being Clausthaler, but they usually contain 0.5% alcohol. I’ve never found a low alcohol beer I like, so if I couldn’t drink the real thing would rather drink something else, like ginger ale or bitter lemon.

Heineken have a 0% beer. It is better than their alcohol version, their sister labels such as Amstel also have alcohol free beer. Bitburger also has an completely alcohol free beer. My son drinks Paulaner Weisbier 0% or Fransikaner 0%. He never drinks alcohol now but sometimes wants to enjoy a beer.

Pubs are not breweries, although they are usually owned by them. Does all alcohol give you a headache? i find that champagne does, and beer (outside of Asia) gives me indigestion, but I can drink cider and wine with no issues.
