No response from Best Western Hotel Dauro II Granada, Spain

Wondering what I'm doing wrong! If you've ever booked rooms at this hotel via the hotel's reservation system, maybe you can help me.

I emailed the Best Western Hotel Dauro II in Granada 7 days ago using their own booking system and have had no response to my inquiry about a possible reservation for May 2011. When I did not hear back within 48 hours, I tried again, using a different email address, provided on the hotel website. Still no response. Tried one more time yesterday morning... nothing. All the other hotels in Spain that I've booked for this trip responded within 24 hours. Is there a trick to booking directly with this hotel that I have yet to discover?

What did they say when you called them on the phone?

I've phoned Dauro II and they say they answer, maybe the mail did not get through. They provide me an e-mail: [email protected] , try there. If one-two rooms, they'll answer inmediately, but for more rooms (in case you were a group), a different person shall answer next monday.
If it does not work, come back here.

Just wanted josele to know that all is well, that I am booked at the Duero II as I had hoped, and that I am looking forward to our stay in Granada. Thanks for the help and encouragment!

Hi ml,

FYI.

Because of internet costs, many small businesses in Europe send all of their email out at one time. Your ISP filter has probably decided that the emails from the hotel were spam.

Was there anything in your deleted folder?

Also, you get better results with fax or phone.

Nice work, josele
