Nice to Cinque Terre by train

Has anyone taken the train from Nice, France to Cinque Terre? I understand that the views are spectacular, but am wondering how long the ride would be, and just as important how many train changes must be made?

We are traveling March, 2019!

Thank you!

There are many tunnels. therefore the view is not so spectacular.
Nice Ville - Monterosso (5Terre):
3 daily connections with 1 change at Genova PP
8 daily connections with changes at Ventimiglia and Genova
Journey time 5-6 hrs
Fares between 24.90 and 37.90 EUR/OW, according to the train and the date you buy your ticket

Be sure to take trains with one change in Genoa - much quicker and buy in advance for discounts - www.seat61.com has loads on doing that - eneral info BETS-European Rail Experts and www.ricksteves.com.
