Vernazza or Manarola in Cinque Terre

Vernazza or Manarola in Cinque Terre
We are trying to decide which town to stay in...does anyone have any recomendations?
If we stay in Manarola would we be able to take a train to Genoa from there when we leave?

Vernazza is a busier town with more places to eat. I enjoyed my stay there at La Mala.
