Nice place to stay in Cinque Terre

I am looking for a nice place to stay in Cinque Terre and have been looking at Monterosso and Manarola but also Portovenere. I got some tips for hotels Portaroca and La Toretta which are both beautiful but also fully booked. I don´t mind paying a little more for a charming hotel with great view - do any of you have some tips of hotels but also area (inside CT or outside) to stay?

Hotel Margherita in Monterosso - very nice, air conditioned, great service and pretty views over the rooftops

Thanks will have a look - what do you think about Monterosso compared to the other villages?

They all have their unique charm. Monterosso is nice, has an old and a "new" part of town, certainly the biggest. Best beach for sure in the 5T.

Lodging is very tight. If you haven't booked ahead of time, particularly during peak times, you may have few choices.

I agree with Bob the navigator. Wife and I stayed at this wonderful little B&B and loved it.

La Mala in Vernazza was amazing. Great views (right over the water) and very clean rooms. We really enjoyed staying in Vernazza, mainly because of no cars and the restaurants in the evening.

I agree about Hotel Margherita and La Mala. It's a shame La Toretta is fully booked; that is another great one.
