New Italy Itinerary
Hello,
I made a change in my itinerary, based on the comments. I eliminated Milan and will fly from Venice back to the states ($50 to change on Continental One Pass). As it stands now:
Arrive June 11, AM. Stying in Rome until the 15th. Have Venice Nites of 17, 18, 19 leaving for home on June 20. As it stands now, I have 15, 16 in Florence but need to know if t would be better to go south to Sorrento/Naples/Capri and one less night in Florence or Rome. Sorry for the long winded question.
THanks

It appears that you favor the cities.
I would spend one less night in Rome
to wind through the Tuscan/Umbria
countryside, hilltowns and wineries,
using Florence as a base or stopping
enroute mid way between Rome and Florence.
Assisi, Orvieto, etc.
I enjoy the mix of countryside villages and city.
