Neuschwanstein & Bavarian 14-day ticket
Hi all. I’m I in the process of planning a visit to Munich and Bavaria in December and part of the itinerary includes Ludwig’s castles Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau. I want to reserve the Swan ticket for entrances to Neuschwanstein, Hohenschwangau, and the Bavarian Kings Museum. Neuschwanstein is covered by the Bavarian Palace Department 14-day ticket. This will be the first castle or palace covered by the 14-day ticket that we will be visiting.The brochure from the Bavarian Palace Department says the tickets are available for purchase at the cash desk of each property covered. Schloss Hohenschwangau is not covered by the 14-day ticket.
So my questions; has anyone used this 14-day ticket to visit Neuschwanstein in conjunction with a tour of Hohenschwangau? Were you able to easily buy the 14-day ticket at the Hohenschwangau ticket center and then also pay for entrance to the other castle?
