Need help with hotel In Milan!!!

We are going to Milan in October for two days, and I am looking for a centrally located hotel, near the Duomo, with a good
price around 150 EUROS. Also we are planning to drive from Milan to Florence,
and then to a little town called Il Borro.
on the way to Florence with have two days
and where is an interesting place to stay?
What are your suggestions regarding an interesting town to stay two nights in that
area. We are staying after one week at
Il Borro, and plannning for day trips on the
area.
Thanks in advance

I just returned from Milan Easter Sunday. We stayed at a wonderful boutique hotel called Antica Locanda Leonardo on Corso Magenta. I can't say enough good about it! It was quiet, charming, roomy and the staff very helpful and accomodating. Breakfast is uncluded.

It is not in the immediate area of the Duomo which is very crowded and noisy.

We walked several times to the Duomo and a few times caught the Metro which is VERY easy and safe to use.

Can't help with the rest of the itinerary - we took a train to Florence. I would not recommend the hotel we stayed at in Florence.

Sorry for my previous reply - I meant to say breakfast is included. Brioche, quiche, yogurt, cereal, coffee or tea. Very nice.

Try Hotel Spadari Al Duomo, although not sure it will fall within your budget. Depends on dates, I think!
