Am renting a car in Stockholm, heading to Oslo and then spending 4-5 days driving in Norway --need someone to help with a driving route that will hit some of these areas such as Lillehammer, Lom, Undredal, Flam, Alesund, Geiranger, Voss, Laerdal, Aurland, Solvorn, Jotenheimen nat. park, ...was hoping there might be a loop of some sort..we don't mind backtracking if necessary--don't need to go all the way to Bergen. Also wanted to go on a fjord boat ride -with or without the car... Can anyone help??

Can’t be of too much help but we drove from Oslo to Beitostolen. We then hiked in Jotenheimen along a section of Lake Gjende. You could take a fairly dramatic boat ride on the lake. Extremely stark and beautiful (look up the Besseggen Ridge). The highway (51) and then 15 continues up to Geiranger.

We doubled back to Stavanger where there are cruises on the Lysefjord. That might be too far out of your way.
