Need a hotel day room at CDG
Does anyone know of a hotel near the Charles DeGaulle airport that offers day rooms for a reasonable price?
We have a long (early morning till evening)connection but will be too tired to go anywhere or do anything, so we were hoping to crash in a hotel room.
Thanks for helping......

Sorry, I do not, but the 2* hotels around CDG are not going to have very high rates to begin with, so should probably be adequate. Not sure what you expect, but the 2* Ibis which is right in the airport and very convenient has rates for only about 80 euro.
YOu could also bid on Priceline real low, as they have CDG airport hotels, and that might work if you want to try to get something for less.

Thanks, Christina and Dorothy for taking the time to answer....I know I'll need my sleep! I'll contact the Ibis and see what I can get.
Makes me think of a funny story....
Many years ago for our first time in Paris, we didn't want to lose any time from sightseeing. So, when we arrived, instead of trying to catch a few winks in our hotel room, we hopped a motor coach (you know, the kind with comfy seats...) for the overall general tour of Paris. We figured it would help us get our bearings...Well, maybe that would have been true....if we could keep our eyes open! I was so embarrased...until I looked around. A good 60 percent of the tourists on that bus were asleep too.
Anyway, thanks again!

I have a long (6 hour) wait between connections at CDG in a couple of weeks. I asked AirFrance if I could buy a day pass to their business class lounge. They said they didn't offer that but if I went to the information desk, someone could help me find one of the hotels that's at the airport with a day room. Don't know if you'd end up paying more this way.
