Hi word,
We spent 10 days on the AC about two years ago. I think we stayed two nights in Naples (long enough to see the Arch museum, veiled Christ, walk around, eat, etc.), three nights Capri giving us two full days and part of another and the remainder of the time in Ravello following our drive on the AC just stopping along the way in Positano and Amalfi. This was a fabulous trip for us. After arriving in Ravello we just enjoyed our hotel and the town. You may desire to do more sight seeing but I think 10 days with your three places is perfect! Also, went to Pompeii after leaving Naples on the way to Capri.
Happy travels!

I spent 3 nights on Capri last month and it was perfect. I spent one full day visiting Capri and another one visiting Anacapri.
I've never been to Amalfi or Ravello, but I think Positano is definitely a daytrip, because it is tiny.
I think the way MimiPam split the time sounds about right.

Husband and I spent one day/one night in Naples. We spent the day walking around and seeing some of the major sights (the museum with artifacts from Pompeii was closed that day for some reason, and missing that is our big regret). We weren't terribly impressed by Naples, maybe because (in our opinion) it paled in comparison with Rome and also because we had just come from spending 7 days on the serene and romantic Amalfi Coast and Capri. NAples is busy. A real city. It is dirty and slightly difficult to get around. But we did have some fantastic pizza - and we are glad that we saw at least some of the city.
